Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former worker in a factory. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone is a gifted student in school as young children, began in second grade at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she earned her diploma in the year 1975. In addition, she competed in and won the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone together with her aunt in 1977, moved to New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week later. Then, she moved to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan and Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the fashion industry that was thriving in Europe took up acting while living in Europe. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" it was a mixed-review film, at age 20.
