Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American actor-producer and stage actress is known for playing in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The series both received praise from critics, and she also took home a variety of awards. In 1995 she made her acting debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. In addition to the Broadway production Come and Gone, she also has credits for Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her work in Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help.
